WORKSHOPS
Rock - Wanna be in a rock band? Now is your chance. Scrap Percussion - Making banging beats and rhythms on everyday junk. Samba Drumming - "Have you got a dog? A great big dog?" da da da da. Circus Skills - Juggling, Unicycling, trapeze, all sorts of mad cap fun! Salsa Dance - Learn to dance like the spanish. Comedy - think you are funny? Learn techniques from the masters of laughter. Capoeira - A Martial Arts inspired form of dance. Theatre - One for the drama queens NYMAZ - The NYMAZ tent will feature a range of musical performance along with workshops in Roots Music, featuring rhythms from across the world. Digital Animation - Learn how to make animation on computers. Who knows, you could end up creating the next Wall:e or Wallace and Gromit. FlipBook Animation - Animation Old Skool style! Bunraku - Even I don't know what this is, go find out! Mod Roc - Create sculptures, masks and other stuff using plaster all the way from Paris. Banners - You can create a nice banner about CultureShock, or anything you want really. Withy Sculpture - Make your own wonderful creation from this flexible wood. Felt Making - Make some stuff using felt!!! Awesome!! Film - Loads of stuff, you can get involved in the festival documentary, have a go in the prosthetics and fx workshop, or even film yourself in the video booth. Didgeridoo - Do it like the Aborigines do it! Hand Drumming - Drum Circles are great fun. Manga - Japanese style pictures and cartoons Music Production - Make your own tunes on computers MCing - Can you spit a rhyme? DJing - Spin some tunes on the wheels of steel! BreakDance - Learn to dance on your head! Street Dance - Bust a move! Street Art - You could be the next Banksy.
