If you are a band or musician and want to perform at CultureShock 2012, read this……
 Due to the massive number of applications that we receive we run a Music competition to help us find the right performers.
Bands and musicians that want to play at CultureShock need to complete the official application form and submit it by Friday 24th Feb.

Friday 22nd June 2012 - Primary School day
Saturday 23rd June 2012 - Youth Arts day

CultureShock 2011 from the Harrogate Showground...
At this year’s festival, we had 2 primary school days... a secondary school day...the big show and our MAIN youth arts day, totalling the longest CultureShock festival to record, helping us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in style. To throw a few figures out there, we had over 800 young people coming on each of the school days and wait for it... an INCREDIBLE 3000 young people coming on the main day!!!
The CYC team would like to take this opportunity to SHOUT OUT a MASSIVE THANK YOU to each and every single one of you for coming and supporting this year’s festival. We hope that you all had an awesome time, experiencing the very best music, performances and cultural workshops and have taken away lots of unforgettable memories that you will treasure and remember forever!
To all the musicians and performances... we salute your talent, commitment and dedication to putting your hearts and souls into what you did at the festival... we were very impressed, so keep it up and we hope to SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME at
